Description

In light of the new Pirates movie -- which I've heard is really good -- I watched the original and drew my favorite pirate ever: Hector Barbossa. Jack the Monkey managed to worm his way into it. I think I might see the new movie... but mainly because of Geoffrey Rush and Ian McShane. :drool:

Rush's Barbossa was the best bad guy for the Pirates movies, although Bardem's Salazar reminded me a lot of "Curse of the Black Pearl" era Barbossa. Monkey Jack was a nasty little imp to the very last. It all got scarier once you factored in the "ancient curse that turns you skeletal in moonlight". Wonderful childhood memories, and no nightmares, of this guy for me.
