I'm sure everyone knows by now, that Robin Williams, one of the greatest comedians in entertainment history, has passed away. My mom called me while I was heading over to my grandfather's house and I didn't want to believe it. The Genie is one of my favorite Disney characters ever and 'Aladdin' is one of my favorite Disney films because of the Genie. And 'Hook'? One of my favorite films EVER, and my second favorite role of Robin Williams. That man was a key piece of my childhood, and now he's gone. And even though I knew it was a long shot, he was one of the actors I've always wanted to meet. It hurts really, to know that will never officially happen now.

I just want everyone to take a moment and appreciate Robin Williams in our mourning. He was a brilliant performer who could pull of both comic and serious roles, and above all he was a great human being. My heart goes out to his family, his friends, and all my fellow fans of his. Thank you, Robin Williams, for the laughs, the tears, and the love; we ain't never had a friend like you.

It's a tragedy of the humanity, to live knowing that you'll have to go through the deaths of the people you know, you cherish and love. But the smile, the laughs and tears they gave us while living are surely worth it.

Robin Williams has been part of my life since I was little, and coming to know of his departure has stricken me, but maybe now he's found the peace he was looking for.

Rest in peace, Robin... :'(
